Achilles Land
The above video is a time-lapse I recorded while I made my first Matte Painting. It took about 7-8 hours in total and was all done in one sitting. Talk about extreme mental state of flow!
This kinda stuff really inspires me to make more like it, and I did but I’ll release that here in a couple of days.
Interestingly the church you see on the cliff in the image is actually where the whole thing started. I went to this kentish village called Biddenden once and was taking random pictures (as you do) and one of them was of this church. I don’t know exactly what happened next to inspire me to make some art of it, but whatever it was I just knew it would be kinda cool so I turned on the screen recorder. And wha-do-ya-know!
